Academic Programs
The American International School of Excellence offers an academic program for students in Grades 6 through 12 structured around clearly defined course requirements and academic progression. The program is designed to provide continuity across grade levels and to support students’ preparation for advanced study through a coherent sequence of coursework.

The curriculum includes core academic subjects and designated electives, with learning objectives, assessments, and academic expectations documented at each grade level. Student progress is evaluated through ongoing coursework, assignments, and assessments in accordance with the school’s academic policies, ensuring consistent monitoring of achievement and readiness for advancement.
Learning Model

The American International School of Excellence delivers its academic program through a structured distance learning model supported by a Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS serves as the central platform for course content, instructional materials, assignments, assessments, and academic communication.

Through the LMS, students access coursework, submit assignments, receive feedback, and track academic progress in an organized and documented manner. The use of an LMS supports consistency in course delivery, academic recordkeeping, and oversight across all grade levels.
Curriculum and Instruction

The curriculum is aligned with U.S. educational standards and reflects academic frameworks commonly used in California private schools. Core areas of instruction include English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, which form the foundation of an American education and support academic progression and educational continuity.

To support cultural relevance for international students, the school may incorporate supplementary content related to students’ regional or national contexts. These additions are designed to enhance cultural understanding and contextual learning while maintaining the integrity of the U.S.-based academic program and its core requirements.
Assessment and Academic Records

Student performance is evaluated through structured assessments aligned with course objectives and academic requirements. Assessment methods include coursework, assignments, projects, and examinations as defined by each course.

The school maintains official academic records documenting coursework completion, grades, and academic progress. Records are managed in accordance with established academic policies and support academic review and verification when required.
